Role Overview:
As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be instrumental in leading our AR operations, ensuring optimal cash flow management and maintaining excellent relationships with our clients. This position requires a strategic thinker with a robust background in finance management and a proven ability to lead a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes.
• Maintain a firm collection timeline and ensure compliance with it.
• Manage and administer compliance with our receivable insurance carrier.
• Manage a team of national credit & collection analysts and cash application specialists and set departmental objectives.
• Collect accounts by sending invoice reminders and communicating with customers via phone and email.
• Establish an industry-leading rapport with customers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc forecasting reports.
• Stay updated on industry and legislative changes related to collection regulations.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in collections management and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of billing, financial concepts, and collection regulations.
• Excellent leadership skills with an ability to motivate and manage staff.
• High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with accounting software.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
