Spartan Floor Coating is Hiring a Lead Installer Near Beach, FL

Spartan Floor Coatings is a leading specialty contractor with services tailored to the residential and commercial concrete coating markets. We specialize in polyaspartic and epoxy flooring applications for customers throughout the Treasure Coast.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead/manage 1 or more crews of installers to complete daily jobs
  • Perform all levels of preparation and installation
  • Work with the customer to make sure we install floors to their satisfaction
  • Make sure the floors and prepared properly for installation by diamond grinding and cleaning using best practices
  • Mixing the products properly for installation
  • Rollout the different resinous coatings based on the customer's selection and order
  • Broadcast media (flake or quartz) to specification
  • Measure and mix materials needed for the job
  • Submit weekly inventory needs
  • Report to work on time and with proper attire
  • Maintain a safe working environment and wear appropriate PPE
  • Follow and enforce rules, policies, regulations as outlined in company handbook
  • Responsible for care and cleanliness of equipment, company vehicles, and working areas
  • Actively engage in continued industry education
  • Understand and accurately perform all levels of surface prep/polished concrete/basic coatings applications without supervision.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work area, including proper signage and barriers when appropriate.
  • Use of company vehicles
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

· 3 plus years of all techniques for polyaspartic/epoxy applications (ie. Flake, metallic, solid, quartz applications)

· Supervisor/management experience

· Ability to lift heavy objects of 50lbs or more

· Work a flexible schedule including some weekends

· Ability to communicate professionally with customers

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Proven superior experience performing installation of floor preparation products
  • Previous experience operating floor preparations machinery
  • Able to report to work on time and in proper safety attire
  • Has valid drivers license with motor vehicle record that meets company insurance requirements
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and 5 panel drug screening
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of job responsibilities
  • Coachable
  • A customer service-minded attitude
  • Real world examples of your work
  • Willingness to work with others as a team
  • Ability to work quickly under time constraints with quality and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a variety of locations throughout Metro Denver/Colorado Springs
  • No allergies to concrete dust, epoxy, urethane, polyurethane, polyurea, polyaspartic, vinyl, or mica
  • Great work ethic
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Working cell phone to send and receive phone calls, voicemail, and text messages

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Payment frequency:

  • Paid biweekly

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
  • Year round work

Work Location: On the road
