SPARKS MARKETING LLC is Hiring a Payroll administrator Near Philadelphia, PA

Position Overview :

The Payroll Administrator performs a wide range of administrative and clerical functions and is responsible for supporting payroll activities for weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for multi-state locations, including pre and post processing analysis, compensation changes, various adjustments, reporting and ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.

Responsibilities :

  • Administer bi-weekly and weekly payroll for hourly (union and non-union) and salaried employees.
  • Process multi-state payroll(s) that include pay adjustments, benefit deductions, commission payments, garnishment, and taxes.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records.
  • Enter compensation changes, deductions adjustments, and other adjustments timely and accurately.
  • Calculate final pay for terminations and first pay for new hires.
  • Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries by phone, email, or in person.
  • Analyze payroll audit reports prior to processing to identify and resolve payroll issues.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports for accounting and HR departments.
  • Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration.
  • Knowledge of payroll taxes required
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
  • Strong analytical skills and attentiveness to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to proactively identify problems and resolve them independently or with a team.

Preferred Skills :

  • Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office
  • ADP, Concur and NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player
  • Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
