Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. The ideal candidate will have experience as a DENTAL receptionist, be familiar with dental office systems, and possess strong administrative skills.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Schedule appointments using SoftDent software
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing processes
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing paperwork
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as necessary
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a front desk dental receptionist
- Familiarity with dental office systems such as SoftDent is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High school diploma or equivalent
