Full Time Spanish Speaking Floating Assistant

Spark Montessori is an authentic, year round, Montessori school that seeks a full time Spanish speaking Floating Assistant to support our Toddler (15 months to 3 years) and Primary (3 – 6 years) classrooms. The Floater will be assigned to work in various classrooms and roles as coverage or additional support is needed. Additional administrative or other supportive tasks may be assigned according to daily needs within the school. Spark Montessori has a robust, all-weather nature program that engages children in daily exploration of Horner Park. The Floater should be comfortable in spending significant time outdoors each day.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Credential Requirements:

• Prior experience working in Early Childhood Education a plus but not necessary

• Early Childhood Education credit hours a plus but not necessary

• Ability to pass a criminal background check

• 3 written character references

• Medical examination within the last 2 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
