SPARK business academy teaches financial literacy and business topics to students in K through 8th grade.

We are looking for a Part time After school Instructors and Assistants to supervise children and make sure they learn and have fun.

A SPARK Part time After school Instructors and Assistants will use our easy to follow financial literacy and business related teaching guides in a fun in jovial manner. Being reliable and able to build good relationships with children are two essential traits of a SPARK Instructors and Assistants.

The class will be Mondays 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm from March 4th through June 3rd. Must be comfortable with teaching children K-2nd graders.

If you’re patient, energetic but strict when needed, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Lead business and financial literacy classes
• Escort and oversee children K-2nd graders
• Educate campers through games and explorations
• Set up and maintain the classroom
• Make sure all safety rules are followed and provides excellent classroom management skills
• Perform first aid or take care of injuries as needed

Skills

• Proven experience as a school teacher, camp counselor, or similar role working with children
• Patient and reliable
• Organizational and communication skills
• A love for children
• Energetic and positive personality
• High school diploma

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $65.00 per hour
