Southwestern Recovery Center is Hiring a Medical Office Coordinator Near Columbus, OH

Mental health and addiction services physician's office in search of a Clinic Coordinator. Looking for a motivated self-starter who is team-oriented, able to multi-task, shows attention to detail, and is comfortable with the pace of outpatient care.

Position Requirements:

  • High school graduate
  • 1 year working in behavioral health preferred.
  • Clear background check and drug screen

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Operate office machines, such as photocopiers, scanners, and fax machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
  • Answer telephones, direct calls, take messages, and complete reminder calls.
  • Manage calendars and arrange appointments in an electronic scheduling program.
  • Greet patients and visitors as they enter the office, review key reminders, and notify appropriate staff of their arrival.
  • Copy insurance cards, patient IDs, and other materials patients may provide.
  • Collect payment for services.
  • Manage release of information including responding to request for information and sending out releases of information.
  • Collect urine and oral specimens for testing and assist medical providers as needed.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility.
  • Ability to draw blood is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
