SENIOR BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST
Position Summary: Provides direct treatment services for clients across a broad age range while also providing client services and treatments within multiple client service teams and within multiple programs by performing the following duties personally. Responsible for ensuring that all critical tasks are fulfilled on a timely and high-quality basis.
What You'll Do:
Complies fully with all medical records and information privacy regulations, local, state, and federal.
Provides input, observations, and feedback to Clinical Supervisors regarding client treatment plans, programming, data, and progress.
Provides highly effective and best practice treatment for clients on a face-to-face bases and assists other clinical staff with delivering upon this same objective.
Coordinates fully with other internal clinical professionals in the best interests of clients and their family members while recommending treatment plan improvements as necessary based upon client progress and treatment responses.
Conducts overlap training and various competency assessments for initial and renewal Registered Behavior Technician credentialing of Behavior Therapists, as applicable.
Properly documents all work activities, session notes and treatment service results on a fully accurate and timely basis while ensuring that all client documentation may be properly utilized for additional treatment purposes.
Provides client treatments using varying treatment models with minimal oversight, frequently with clients who they have not met previously.
Who You Are
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required. Focus areas of education, sociology, special education or psychology preferred.
Registered Behavior Technician certification is required.
In excess of 2,400 direct treatment hours of clinical experience is required.
3 to 6 years of employment in a clinical environment on a full-time, part-time and/or work-study basis is required, preferably including recent work with individuals with ASD.
Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst licensure is preferred.
