Graduate from an approved nursing program. Medical Assistant or LPN credentials. Proficient in computer skills/electronic medical records. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. Understanding of documentation standards. Understanding of basic laboratory procedures in a CLIA waived environment. Provides basic patient care as ordered. Administers medications and injections as directed. Promotes wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice and instructions. Can professionally communicate and perform accurate documentation during daily phone triage. Initiate patient specialist referrals, professional follow up with other medical offices and facilities. Knowledge of and can accurately use basic medical office equipment.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
