ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ice Cream Cashier

• Greets every customer
• Communicates well with customers in person or via phone to ensure accuracy of order and customer satisfaction
• Assists in answering phone and taking to go orders
• Knowledgeable of menu, demonstrates suggestive selling techniques
• Demonstrates accurate cash handling abilities.
• Use register to track all transactions
• Prepares and packages high quality ice cream products, desserts to order
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of ice cream station and cash drawer

Meat Market Checkout

• Weigh meats to order. Package appropriately.
• Properly rings in all market orders via barcode scanner or manual entry
• Use register to track all transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of novelty area and meat market

Education and/or Experience

Food Handler Certificate required to obtain.

Prior cash handling experience preferred.

Ability to listen, read, write and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
