```Job Summary```
Southside Dental Center is a thriving general dental office committed to providing high-quality oral healthcare to our community. We take pride in creating a welcoming and friendly environment for our patients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Receptionist and Insurance Coordinator.

```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Collect payments and provide patients with billing information
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations of the office

```Requirements```
- Previous experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus

-Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and coverage limitations.

- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Familiarity with Open Dental a bonus, but not a requirement
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
