Job Description:

Southers Construction is seeking a dynamic and motivated Solar Energy Consultant to join our growing team in the New Hampshire solar market. This role is a hybrid position, combining lead generation with in-home sales closure responsibilities. If you are passionate about renewable energy, enjoy interacting with people, and have a talent for sales, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing to generate new leads in assigned territories.
• Engage potential customers in informative discussions about the benefits of solar energy.
• Schedule and conduct in-home consultations to assess customer needs and present solar solutions.
• Close sales and guide customers through the contracting process.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions and follow-up activities in our CRM system.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets to qualify for appointments and receive bonuses.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales, particularly in a door-to-door or direct sales environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with potential customers.
• Basic knowledge of the solar industry is a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
