Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral support and intervention to individuals with special needs
- Implement behavior plans and strategies based on applied behavior analysis principles
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior support plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and track progress of individuals, adjusting interventions as needed
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary
- Assist with the development and implementation of social skills training programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment interventions

Train family members and other support staff to implement written programs, Evaluate and monitor progress on programs and modify as needed.

Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field and at least three years of experience working with children with disabilities or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs, preferably in a clinical or educational setting
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Strong understanding of crisis intervention strategies and ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
- Experience working with children or adolescents is preferred
