PATIENT, FUN STRUCTURED FULL TIME SUMMER NANNY FOR TWO BROTHERS 6 3

Location: Forest Hills, 37215

This laid-back, long term SSN family is in need of an awesome summer nanny to have a fun summer with their two boys , 6 and 3, and help with transportation to camps. Week to week may look a bit different given some camps and activities that are planned out, but sprinkled in between they hope their summer nanny can plan fun things to do with the boys to enjoy and maximize their summer break.

SCHEDULE
Hours: 40 per week scheduled M-F between 8:30 – 5:30
Guaranteed hours: 40/week
Duration: June 3 to mid-August 2024
*could begin someone sooner with babysitting and occasional hours to get to know the family

THE DETAILS

We’ve known this family since before their oldest was born and they have continued to be a fan-favorite of families from the nannies who have worked with them! This summer they are looking for a full time nanny to primarily care for their boys, but to also help aid in the day to day duties that keep their home running smoothly such as the boy’s laundry, loading the dishwasher, and keeping the boy’s rooms and common areas tidy. They boys are pretty self-sufficient but still need some guiding reminders to flex those independence muscles (especially when it comes to clean up messes they have made.)

Both kids will be in and out of camps and classes for the summer, so while there may be times when they’ll both be around, there will also be one on one time as well. Driving will be required, and the parents prefer someone who is experienced driving kids and confident navigating around Nashville. When they aren’t in classes or camps, they want them having fun and engaged, not sitting around stuck on screens. Planning fun activities and outings is a must and will keep the boys moods up. Both boys respond well to a structured day and someone who can keep firm boundaries. Both mom and dad have really intense jobs and will appreciate a self-starter who can problem solve and stay on top of the boy’s schedule daily and week to week.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Minimum 2 years experience with ages 3-6
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Safe vehicle to use for transporting the kids (mileage reimbursed)
- Reliable able to commit full time for the summer
- non smoker/vaper
- Strong swimmer

COMPENSATION:
Hourly: $25/hr gross
Guaranteed hours: 40/week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
