Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CLS II to join our team. As a CLS II, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. This is a vital role in our hospital, ensuring accurate and timely laboratory results for patient care.
Duties:
- Perform phlebotomy and collect blood samples from patients
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze specimens using various laboratory techniques
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
- Monitor and maintain quality control of laboratory instruments and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Accurately record and manage data related to patient samples and test results
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results for patient care
- Assist in the training and supervision of laboratory assistants
