In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting our practice's operations, performing administrative, clinical, and medical duties under the guidance of our doctors. The position can include answering calls/emails, scanning, medical record requests, verifying insurance benefits, billing/collections tasks as well as administration, scoring, data entry, and report writing for psychological tests. Position Overview:
· Seeking Full time Professional Medical/ Psychological / Executive Assistant
(typically requires a Monday-Friday schedule/ flexible hours based on doctors’ schedules)

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree or higher (experienced individuals as well as new graduates encouraged to apply!)
· Will consider: Medical Assistants, PA, nurses in related area (psychology, law, premed, nursing or other health care related focus)
· Time commitment: at least 1 year. Considering the training and competencies necessary for this role (dependent on an individual's prior experience). Individuals applying should plan to remain in the position for a minimum of one year.
Preferred/ Favorable:
· Experience working in a psychology or other healthcare practice
· HIPAA compliance
· Basic Life Support
· Some education or experience with assisting (medical, nursing, emergency technician, professional healthcare assistant, etc.)

Primary Responsibilities:
· Preparing and organizing patient paperwork/charts for appointments
· Patient screenings, obtain vital signs, and medical history
· Attending to: patient, doctor, and pharmacy correspondences, medication authorizations/refills, licensures, schedules, and meetings
· Maintaining pace/schedule throughout the daily and weekly schedules
· Informing doctors of pertinent issues/information, and preparing/organizing/reviewing charts for billing/diagnosis coding accuracy, as well as general oversight of doctor/patient correspondence/business
· Completing forms, documentation, report writing
· Sorting/coping/faxing/mailing records/documents
