I'm looking for someone with hands-on experience in a QC Calibration role for a job shop/manufacturing environment position.

Here’s a summary of duties for our QC Calibration Specialist:

· The Calibration Specialist is accountable for roughly 1,500 QC instruments/devices; this includes company owned and employee-owned instruments.

· Minimize any measurement uncertainty by ensuring the accuracy of such instruments and devices.

· Managing calibration records in Gage Pack.

· Insuring all is traceable to NIST standards.

· Assisting QC Inspectors and machinists as needed.

· Determine causes of measurement errors and recommend corrective actions.
