Position Overview:
As an Optometrist at SoHum Health, the primary objective is to deliver outstanding eye care services by leveraging proficiency in contemporary techniques and equipment. This role is instrumental in enriching the lives of SoHum Health patients and customers through the provision of top-tier optometric care, emphasizing exceptional patient service, encompassing clinical diagnosis, treatment, and the adept management of visual and ocular disorders and diseases.
The Optometrist will have a keen understanding of the needs of rural communities and is interested in taking services to where the patients are through our mobile unit to reduce healthcare inequities caused by geographical barriers and transportation challenges. The commitment extends to surpassing expectations in Quality Assurance standards, business metrics, and associate management guidelines.
The Optometrist understands and embodies the core values of SoHum Health and diligently adheres to all company policies and procedures. Dedication to patient-centric care, alignment with The District's mission and values, and an unwavering commitment to continuous professional development define the essence of this role. They must operate in accordance with the clinical guidelines set forth by the American Optometric Associate and the American Academy of Optometry.
