Overview

Responsible for facilities and facilities capital planning including expansion and site modifications. Lead the facilities/maintenance teams that oversee the day-to-day maintenance/certifications of machinery and facilities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and train site personnel on all applicable health and safety programs, including, but not limited to, fire prevention, fall protection, walking & working surfaces, machine guarding, electrical safety, arc flash safety, lockout/tag-out, hazard communication, personal protective equipment, confined spaces, powered industrial trucks, material handling equipment/conveyors, scissor lifts & man lifts, industrial hygiene as well as applicable federal and State-specific regulations and standards
• Recruit, select, orient, and train employees; coach, counsel and manage employees
• Develop, on going planning, and manage yearly expense budgets for the department
• Create a preventive maintenance and repair schedule using CMMS, asset essentials for all facilities to ensure proactive upkeep of assets
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and capital expenditures
• Conduct facility inspection to detect any existing or potential accident, environmental, and/or health hazards and ensure corrective or preventative measures are implemented
• Participate in the planning and oversight of all improvement projects
• Manage contractors and suppliers entering ground
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
• In-Depth knowledge of Microsoft suites
• CMMS master user – preferably AE asset essentials
• Broad knowledge of safety programs including but not limited to; electrical, fire safety, IPE and confined spaces
• Profecient with project management

Physical Demands

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
• Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
