Job Title: Service Assistant 

Reports To: Service Representative/Service Manager 

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

Classification: Full Time 

Job Summary: 

• The Service Assistant rides with the Service Representative (CDL A Driver) and is responsible for accurately and safely delivering and merchandising products to customer accounts with a sense of urgency and faster-than-average work pace. *This role is the entry level role to growth for obtaining your CDL A with SCP*

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides continuous, courteous and professional customer service to customers, store personnel, and store customers.
• Completes deliveries in timely manner and ensures accuracy of billing to customers.
• Comply with all driving safety and State law regulations.
• Follow the stores procedures to dispose of all empty cardboard cases and paper wrap.
• Re-pack product as required or directed.
• Responsible to communicate in an effective and timely manner with Service Managers.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes early mornings. (3:00am - 5:00 AM start times)
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED.
• Valid Driver's License

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting 30%
• Walking, Bending, Lifting, Kneeling, and Twisting 70%
• The ability to lift and maneuver products weighing up to 50 pounds continuously through the day. 
• The ability to operate a variety of hand operated equipment (delivery carts, hand truck, etc.)
