The driving assignments will have varied durations, from 3 days to 6 months and are primarily completed at night. You will receive a per diem for meals and approved expenses when traveling, paid travel and hotel. The Field Service Technician will fly or drive to AMLD assignments depending on distance from home project. Some comfort with technology and a willingness to learn in a technical environment is preferred. In this position you can expect to drive nightly typically 8 hours per day working 3rd shift (sundown - early AM) Click Here to View More About the AMLD Vehicle Solution Additionally, technicians will be cross trained in the skill of traditional gas leak survey. Training is typically 4-5 weeks (paid), learning how to accurately detect and classify natural gas leaks, walking 3 or more miles per day, working outdoors in all weather conditions and environments ie: in and around vehicular traffic, residential and commercial environments, rural environments including: tall grass, uneven walking areas, fields, city sidewalks, alley ways and at times encountering dogs and wildlife.
