Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center has an opening for a full-time CT - Rad Tech. This position operates within the day-to-day operations of the Medical Imaging Department in alignment with the mission, values, and goals of the organization. Performs imaging procedures according to physician’s orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to exposure factors, department protocols, imaging techniques, and patient care. This position is responsible to perform CT and X-ray exams and reports directly to the Medical Imaging Manager.

A sign-on incentive is available for up to $5,000.00

Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduated from a certified Radiologic Technology School or program.
• Maintains applicable state licensure (OBMI) as well as in the national registry (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• Have and maintain BLS/CPR Certification.
• Two years of experience in the appropriate field of Imaging is preferred.
• Experience with Radiology Information Systems, PACS, and electronic medical records.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational skills, and computer proficiency specifically in Microsoft Office and online software.

This is a Full-Time position that is eligible for benefits. *SCHHC pays the full employee-only amount for health, dental, and vision insurance.*
