SOUTHERN CONCRETE MATERIALS is Hiring a Precast Plant Laborer 1 Near Fletcher, NC

Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 
1. Maintain concrete block forms (structurally) 
2. Strip, clean, oil and close forms 
3. Pull structure ensuring no damage to form or structure
4. Ensure reinforcement is properly installed
5. Clean plant daily, sweep, keep area tidy and safe
6. Vibrate concrete forms with 15lb handheld vibrator 
7. Assist load and unload material and product as needed
8. Maintain inventory of material and condition of forms
9. Maintain a positive attitude towards work and the team 
10. Follows appropriate environmental rules and regulations 
Supervisory Responsibility · This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 
Work Environment · Work performed in a concrete plant with varying temperatures. 
· Some work required outdoors in weather conditions.
Physical Demands 1. Must be able to lift and/or maneuver around a facility and grounds a minimum of 50lbs. throughout the workday, as required 
2. Load/unload/carry materials and tools multiple times throughout the workday 
3. Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job efficiently and safely 
4. Must be able to work flexible hours as necessary. Some Saturday work possible 
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Occasional early morning, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. 
Required Education and Experience 1. High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
2. Related work experience
