The Institutional Services Assistant works under general supervision and is responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of buildings. This position is governed by agency/institution policy.All SAU Tech employees are expected to demonstrate excellence in interpersonal behaviors and be committee to effective collaboration with colleagues. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Cleaning classrooms, including floors, chalkboards and classroom furniture on a daily basis. Cleaning restrooms on a daily basis. Cleaning carpets on a daily basis. Cleaning other general use areas on a daily basis. Setting up furniture in conference and meeting rooms as needed. Performing other cleaning duties as needed. This will include cleaning windows, doors, baseboard, dusting furniture, etc. Working in a cooperative and productive manner with other team members. Stripping and waxing floors. Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.
