SEVHS seeks an HR Assistant to provide support to the Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate will have previous HR experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills, exhibit trustworthiness in handling confidential information. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Schedule interviews

Greet potential candidates and escort them to and from the conference room

Manage and maintain personnel files

Make Copies, file and fax documents

Prepare new hire packets for orientation – making sure documents are updated as needed with current versions/revisions.

Send COBRA notifications to TPA

Take pictures and print employee id badges -

Monitor supplies for HR – folders, id badge supplies, 3M Cards, etc. – place order appropriately.

Assist in answering phones in absence of administrative assistant

Schedule New Hires for physicals

Type Letters/ envelopes as requested

Assist with interviews as needed.

Participate in and attend job fairs.

Assist with preparations for the annual open enrollment meeting

Manage active and inactive personnel in the on line learning system

Query OIG Exclusion database as required.

Query VDH licensure database as required.

Other Duties as assigned
