Job Title: Assistant Controller

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a qualified Assistant Controller to join our team. This role offers the opportunity for growth and a competitive salary based on experience and will report to the Controller.

Responsibilities:

- Manage payroll processing and HR functions, with a preference for experience in multiple states including Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, Alabama, etc.

- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently and accurately.

- Coordinate insurance renewals and possess experience in insurance audits.

- Handle general office administration duties as required.

- Utilize construction industry knowledge to effectively manage financial processes.

- Proficiently operate Sage 100 software for accounting purposes.

- Special projects as directed by the Controller or CEO.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

- Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration, preferably across multiple states.

- Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Experience with insurance renewals and audits within a corporate environment.

- Previous office administration experience is desirable.

- Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus.

- Proficiency in Sage 100 software preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Salary will be commensurate with experience.

- This position will begin as a hybrid role with a mix of remote and office work, transitioning into a full-time office-based position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
