Southeastern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a full time Homeless Outreach Worker at our 5th Street; Community Support Services location.
The Homeless Outreach Worker provides services as appropriate to homeless/severely mentally ill adults. Assist with the intake process in an efficient and friendly manner. Provide supportive services as assigned, supportive housing services and therapeutic services to homeless/severely mentally ill adults and function as an active and positive member of the Community Support Services (CSS) staff. This person should also demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and to perceive and encourage individual strengths.
Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; rotating on call schedule.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of an associates degree in a human service field, Bachelors Degree preferred, along with a potential or demonstrated skill and competence in mental health practice with the homeless/severely mentally ill population. Must have a current driver’s license, car insurance and a driving record acceptable to Southeastern’s Insurance provider. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check, include fingerprinting, drug screening, and a Dept. of Social Services Central Registry check.
