Southeastern Appliances is Hiring a Territory Manager Near Lithonia, GA

POSITION PURPOSE: The Territory Manager Is responsible for selling Southeastern Appliances and More products to customers within the geographical territories assigned. The Territory Manager will reach their business goals through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer sites.

ESSENTIAL PURPOSE:

  • Represent Southeastern Appliance LLC
  • Develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers.
  • Maintain a professional image of the company.
  • Work as a "team" to make the company a desired place to work.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota (Self and Team)
  • Perform professional sales presentations or demonstrations of company products.
  • Manage a call schedule to effectively cover an assigned territory in a time efficient manner.
  • Generate and develop new customers.
  • Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reports, and other documents.
  • Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and industry market related data.
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits.
  • Communicate pricing, programs, credit terms.
  • Track monthly sales quota as defined using "scorecards" provided by Sr Management.
  • Ongoing review of accounts with Sr management.

Top of Form PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:

· Quota attainment monthly

· Dealer satisfaction by promptly handling dealer issues

· Holding effective training meetings

· Prospecting and opening new dealers

· Submitting required reports in required time

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· Coaching and people management skills

· Ability to recruit and train sales associates.

· Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

· Exceptional verbal and presentation skills.

· Knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles and practices.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:

REPETITIVE MOTION: Daily vehicle travel within assigned territory / over-night travel

TALKING: Presentation and communication skills.

AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITES: Normal eyesight needed.

AVERAGE HEARING: Normal hearing needed. Listening to customer issues a must.

PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Must have the ability to work long hours and attend dealer functions / sales events during the evenings and weekends.

WORKING CONDITIONS: No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions. Must have and maintain a working / good condition vehicle and current driver license.

MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION: Understanding of the appliance industry, and with assigned accounts within your territory. Knowledge of the competitive landscape needed.

REASONING ABILITIY: Basic reasoning skills – Problem solving skills – Relationship building skills a must.

MATHMATICS ABILITY: Basic math skills a must along with the understanding of how to calculate margin and resell pricing.

LANGUAGE ABILITY: Fluent English a must, bi-lingual a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
