Salary: Depends on Qualifications Location : Cape Girardeau, MO Job Type: Full-Time Job Number: 202400052 Division: Academic Affairs Department: Autism Center Opening Date: 03/25/2024 Position Summary Registered Behavior Technician Southeast Missouri State University Autism Center for Diagnosis and Treatment Full Time Registered Behavior Technician Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to our clients under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst
Implement individualized programs for children based on ABA principles as written by the Behavior Analyst
Accurately record information on client progress throughout the session
Complete daily progress notes within 24 hours
Be courteous and professional with clients, families, and community organizations
Communicate professionally with supervisors, families, and other professionals
Provide 30 hours of client contact services
Abide by all ethical guidelines set forth by the BACB
Maintain the SEMO Autism Center's reputation for an organized, team environment
Behave professionally with all staff members, clients, and caregivers
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Hold a current Registered Behavior Technician Certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or be able to obtain within 30 days of start date
Able to lift at least 25 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active
Ability to pass a background check
Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills
Able to work with young children
Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
