Faculty Load technician - Budget OfficeFinancial ServicesFull timeFinancial Services is the University finance center that provides budget, accounting, and faculty load support to the University as a whole. The faculty load technician will report to the Financial Analyst for Academic Affairs and may assist others within Financial Services as needed.Primary ResponsibilitiesProcess and issue all faculty contracts for adjunct or overload payments each semesterPrepare reports for authorization by Chairs and Deans for overload contractsReview adjunct and overload assignments for accuracy and compliance with university protocolsProvide training of faculty load input to new personnel and review sessions for existing personnelPrepare spreadsheets related to faculty load for reports to the Provost, Deans and Chairs and Human ResourcesMaintain database for contract processing and reportingMaintain and update training materials and compliance guidelines as neededMaintain faculty load electronic file system for each semester
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
High School Diploma or GEDKnowledge indicating proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and AccessStrong critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems and collaborate with othersDemonstrated organizational and time management skills including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervisionDemonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsEvidence of the ability to handle confidential information, exercise sound judgement and maintain recordsEvidence of outstanding customer service skills
