Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of commercial construction processes, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of accurately estimating project costs. As a Commercial Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and profitability of our projects. Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
• Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates and proposals for bidding purposes.
• Evaluate and negotiate vendor and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive bids.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and bid leveling meetings

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software
