Position Summary:
Assists with the set-up, preparation, service, and clean-up procedures required for meals served to students and staff in accordance with the USDA Child Nutrition Program guidelines. Works cooperatively with other school staff in the preparation of food used in district-wide menus and special function activities. Participates in Nutrition Services professional development activities as scheduled.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds. Consistent and reliable attendance.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Basic math skills including computer applications experience. Certification with the School Nutrition Association at Level 1 within one year from date of employment.
Schedule:
~185 days per year / 5 days per week / 2.0 hours per day / 10:45 AM – 12:45 PM
Classification/Pay Rate:
A-1-1 / $13.42 - $16.46 per hour - Contingent on 2023-2025 employee contract negotiations.
