Position Summary:
Provide classroom instruction to students in 6th grade with an emphasis in Language Arts and Social Studies.

Requirements:
Valid MN Elementary Teaching license. Bi-lingual skills in Spanish or Somali are highly beneficial. Committment to ensuring that all learners have access to learning at their instructional level, feel welcomed, valued, and belong. Willingness to try new strategies and approaches to ensure all learners achieve the highest levels. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of close-knit team.
Other Skills & Abilities:
Provide a variety of strategies in working with students, and maintain flexibility in day-to-day dealing with staff, parents, and stakeholders. Excellent service orientation and interpersonal communications skills with internal and external stakeholders. Must understand and comply with all protocols related to data privacy. Ability to perform duties with an awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
