Under the direction of the Guest Service Manager; the Bellman is responsible for greeting guests in the lobby area, transporting guest luggage, assisting with laundry that needs to be sent out and responding to guest inquiries. Bellmen also store luggage for guests as needed before or after check-in/check-out, and load it upon request. Bell service occasionally involves delivery of food and other items to a guest room.

Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests in the lobby area or near the entrances to the hotel, in a warm and professional manner.
• Assist guests with luggage as needed.
• Transport and deliver luggage and other items needed to guest rooms.
• Respond to guest inquiries about the hotel offerings, local community events, places, etc.
• Assist the Guest Service Department as needed.
• Assist guests with laundry services as needed.
• Assist with locating transportation as needed (calling Uber/ cab/ etc.)
• Help identify and resolve potential safety hazards such as spilled liquids, items on the ground, out of place furniture, room service trays on ground, etc.
• Keep the Sundry (gift shop) Shop stocked and well maintained/ organized.
