Summary: Are you committed to fostering imagination, and inspiration? Join the innovative West Sound STEM Network team! West Sound STEM Network is a consortium of school districts, libraries, military, higher education, Tribal agencies, non-profits, out-of-school providers, and more—all dedicated to increasing STEM opportunities for youth of all ages. The West Sound STEM Career-Connected Learning Manager will develop and manage programs that connect area students from multiple districts to local, regional, and global industries through career connected learning experiences. Program support includes STEM teacher professional development support, career exploration activities, financial aid completion support, internships, job shadows, job fairs, pre-apprenticeships, apprenticeships, and more. A significant portion of this position involves securing industry partner participation for school visits.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The job is performed under minimal temperature variations, a generally hazard free environment, and in varying atmospheric conditions.
