South Jersey Behavioral Health Resources, Inc (SJBHR), a 501(c)(3) non- profit organization which may qualify for public service loan forgiveness, is a community-based mental health organization dedicated to providing quality behavioral health services since 1984.
SJBHR is currently seeking a full-time Outpatient Masters-level Clinician for our Out-Patient Treatment Support Services program located in the Camden City business district. We offer robust benefits and a time off package which includes 12 vacation days, 12 sick days, 4 personal days and 11 holidays.
The Clinician will provide high quality behavioral health counseling services which include: individual, family, couples and group therapy; in addition, to clinical assessments and care coordination. Additional job duties include: timely completion of clinical documentation (intakes, progress notes and treatment plans) via an Electronic Health Record (EHR).
SJBHR serves a culturally diverse array of individuals with a focus on treating severe and persistent mental illnesses with a treatment philosophy towards promoting personal strengths, growth and recovery.
Requirements: Licensure is required for persons with a Social Work degree (MSW). Clinical mental health licensure is preferred. (LAC, LPC, LCSW).
Graduation from an accredited college/university with a master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related discipline. One (1) year experience in the mental health field is preferred. Specific job knowledge entails comfort with problems associated with psychiatric care, knowledge of the DSM 5 and psychotropic medications.
