CLINICIAN

South Jersey Behavioral Health is currently seeking a full-time Outpatient Masters-level Clinician for our Intensive Out-Patient program in Camden, New Jersey. We offer excellent benefits including 11 holidays, 12 vacation days, 12 sick days and 4 personal days.

SOUTH JERSEY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH RESOURCES, INC. (SJBHR) is a community-based mental health organization dedicated to providing quality behavioral health services since 1984.

Duties:

provide high quality behavioral health counseling services to individuals, family and couples therapy to consumers with chronic, persistent mental illnesses in our Outpatient office in Camden, NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide intake assessment and ongoing individual, family and couples psychotherapy.

Complete timely clinical documentation (intake, progress notes, treatment plans) via Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Certifications, Licenses/Registration

Licensure is required for persons with a Social Work degree (MSW). Clinical mental health licensure is Preferred. (LAC, LPC, LCSW).

Educational and Employment Experience

Graduation from an accredited college/university with a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related discipline. One (1) year experience in the mental health field is preferred.

Specific job knowledge entails comfort with problems associated with psychiatric care, knowledge of the DSM 5 and psychotropic medications.
