South Des Moines Vet Center is looking for a Veterinary Technician. This position is devoted to providing exceptional care and communication with our 2-legged clients and 4-legged patients. Part time position available with a consistent schedule. Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7:30am-6pm with potential for full time. Main job duties include:

- interacting with each of our patients and clients while providing individualized care

- maintaining an immaculate veterinary center to ensure patient and employee safety

- maintaining hospital records and invoices for patients

- collecting and running all lab specimens for in-house and reference lab testing.

- radiology

- surgery/dental/anesthesia

- communicating estimates with our clients to make sure they are at ease with all financial aspects of their pet's care

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
