As part of the Subway® Team, you as a General Manager will focus on four main things :

• Coordinating and supporting all activities within two locations
• Training, coaching and supporting employees and managers
• Creating plans and setting business goals for your assigned restaurants
• Being a team player

Key parts of your day to day will consist of :

• Training employees and managers on all aspects of operational excellence
• Working in locations alongside employees during peak periods
• Developing and maintaining staffing levels
• Producing weekly schedules
• Providing leadership to all managers and staff to ensure compliance with operating standards
• Champion staff in efforts to achieve sales, labor, and food cost goals with the use of accessible reports, highlighting any opportunities available

As a Subway® General Manager, you will have access to Subway reporting and digital tools to aid in your success.

PREREQUISITES

Education : High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience : 3-5 years of successful, operational management experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with great interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Basic math and accounting with strong analytical / decision-making skills are imperative.

Demonstrated ability to hire, coach and develop staff is critical. Computer knowledge is essential.

Physical : Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system / cash register.

This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Full Time position that may require evening and weekend availability.
