Job Description
As a facilities maintenance technician, you will work in with various departments, to ensure that the facility and related equipment is in good working order.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing furniture and fixtures throughout all buildings preventative maintenance.
- Assist with plumbing, electrical and HVAC for installations of new equipment.
- Moving existing machines.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Skills
- Required 2-4 years of general facilities maintenance experience and/or some construction/handyman experience.
- You must have knowledge of operation of hand-held mechanical and powered tools, HVAC machinery, test equipment, etc.
- Building Maintenance Technician will also be in charge of Safety around the facility -- this will be part of your training and no prior experience is required.
Education / Experience
- College degree or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years manufacturing engineering experience with direct involvement in the development and production of mechanical components
