As a Mammography Tech, at South Baldwin, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. 

Requirements:

• ARRT Registered Technologist
• Subspecialty in Mammography
• Current BLS from the AHA or ARC
• Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience within the last 3 years in a clinical setting

About the Job:

• Operates X-ray equipment and performs various mammography related procedures
• Obtains patient history.
• Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.
• Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health. Assists Radiologist in invasive procedures.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
•  Maintain equipment servicing, staff licensing, and competencies.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
