Job Description
Assists the Controller and Director of Finance in all aspects of accounting including but not limited to: monthly close, reporting of financial operations, account reconciliations, fixed asset maintenance, budget preparation and monitoring, and reporting to regulatory agencies and corporate office – in particular cost report data collection.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related degree preferred.
Equivalent experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience:
- 2 - 4 years of experience in accounting and finance (preferably 2 years in the healthcare industry).
- Knowledge of GAAP and familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with hospital staff.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of HMS, SAGE Fixed Asset System & Kronos a plus.
