We have found that peer counselors provide a sense of connection and relatability to our patients that is unique. At SIH, peer counselors assist our medical staff and our behavioral staff in guiding patients towards the resources necessary in furthering and maintaining their recovery.
We are looking to hire for 2 people, 1 for our Tacoma location and another for Burien.
The Peer Support Professional is the agent for providing peer support and resources to individuals and their families when applicable. Such services may include, but are not limited to;
