Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in service coordination, guest relations, and sommelier duties, particularly in the realm of wine and sake. This role requires a strong background in fine dining and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the front-of-house staff, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate service activities, including reservations, seating arrangements, and special requests, to maintain efficient flow and timing.
• Train, mentor, and motivate service staff to uphold high standards of professionalism and hospitality.
• Act as a primary point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries, feedback, and special requests with warmth and attentiveness.
• Manage inventory, procurement, and presentation of wine and sake selections, providing recommendations and guidance to guests.
• Execute sommelier duties, including pairing recommendations, wine service, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our beverage program.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure a cohesive and harmonious dining experience for guests.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in a fine dining establishment, with a proven track record in service management and guest relations.
• Extensive knowledge of wine and sake, including varietals, regions, and pairings, with a certification as a sommelier preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and cultivate relationships with guests and team members.
• Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence in service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
