SOS Care in Myrtle Beach is seeking Camp Counselors for our Summer Camp Program for children with autism and intellectual disabilities. This year's camp will take place at the Horry County Education Building located at 3301 North Oak Street, Myrtle Beach, SC. The Camp Counselor will provide support and assistance to campers between the ages of 4 and 21 who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder/intellectual disabilities. The position begins on June 10th and ends August 2, 2024. Hours of operation/shift hours are from approximately 8:30 am until 4:30 pm Monday thru Thursday (may require time before and after for set up/clean up. The Camp Counselors will report to the Camp Manager(s) or Camp Director. Experience in the area of special education, special needs or autism services are preferred. Additionally, Camp Counselors will receive additional training by our qualified staff in May or June (prior to the commencement of camp). Background checks will be completed prior to the commencement of employment. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in expanding their horizons in the area of special education while at the same time, earning extra income over the summer. Interviews will take place in late April and early May.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
