Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking an experienced Information Assurance Engineer to join our team in Miami,FL, United States.

Responsibilities

• Review client IT security procedures, strategies and standards and identify specific areas of vulnerability.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and recommend procedural and/or IT infrastructure improvements.
• Plan and implement network security solutions.
• Support Certification and Accreditation (C&A) efforts.
• Remain current on, and analyze industry-wide trends, laws, and standards related to IT security; and recommend methods, procedures, and products to solve information security problems.
• Lead the development of information security plans and publications, contingency plans, and standard operating procedures in accordance (IAW) governing policies.
• Develop verification procedures for executing risk assessments and security test and evaluations, and conduct risk assessments to ensure that systems are operating securely.
• Regularly interact with stakeholders to ensure a compliant, stable, and effective IT security posture is maintained.
• Analyze network traffic using a variety of network tools to assess security-related events and develop solutions accordingly.

• Maintain Vulnerability Management System (VMS) policies and procedures to ensure that vulnerabilities are properly identified, tracked, and mitigated.

• Conduct VMS reviews of current IAVM CAT I,II,III vulnerabilities and generate reports for government operation meetings.

• Function as Team Leader in teams developing complex technical IT security solutions for projects to include enterprise solutions, system and subsystem solutions, product selection/evaluations, and system interfaces.

Qualifications

• An active in-scope Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent years of related experience
• Twelve (12) years of experience performing Information Assurance
• DoD 8570 IAT level II compliant (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, or SSCP)
• Experience using and/or navigating DISA's Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services (eMASS)
• Experience and familiarity with DISA's Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and procedures
• Experience and familiarity with DISA's Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

Preferred Qualifications

• MCSE/MCITP certification
• ITIL-F v2/v3
• Recent experience supporting MNIS networks/systems
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.
