Pay Range: Actual pay may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow engineering best practices to develop high quality products in a committed team
• Design, deploy and maintain VoIP based platforms in a cloud environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architecture and technical solutions for Real time Communication platforms
• Configure and optimize SIP proxies and media services for high availability and QoS
• Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot issues related to SIP signaling, media transport and WebSocket communication.
• Work with AWS services - EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, ELB, IAM, DynamoDB, Kinesis, CloudWatch, etc.
• Contribute towards automation efforts of infrastructure & platforms.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Create and maintain design documentation, configuration, procedures and best practices.
• Follow stringent security protocols into code development and safeguard against potential vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
• Use of agile and rapid application development processes to speed engineering efforts
• Follow engineering best practices in a team environment to develop high-quality, multi-threaded applications, including writing automated unit, component and feature level testing.
• Contribute to the overall enterprise architecture and the development of product features.

Education

Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Computer Science or a related area or equivalent work experience

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols & troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of VoIP Platforms such as Kamailio & RTPengine
• Strong understanding of Linux Operating systems
• Experience with containerization technologies such as docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes / Amazon EKS
• Familiarity with IaC & Configuration Management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer
• Git, GitHub & GitHub Actions.
• Experience with one or more scripting languages (python, bash)
