Our Carrier Sales Reps are trained to have their finger on the pulse of the industry, working between the ebbs and flows of the volatile freight market of North America.

Our team has their sights set on the growth of our transportation and freight brokerage business. As an integral component of our customers’ supply chain strategy, they’re tasked with implementing effective solutions through creating and fostering key relationships with our professional drivers and carrier network.

JOB DETAILS

Full Time Base Salary Range : $40,000 - $45,000 Per Year

Performance Based Commission

First Shift

Bonus and Monthly Incentive Opportunities

Work Location : On Site

Responsibilities of a Carrier Sales Rep :

Manage / grow relationships with current Sonwil Logistics carrier base.

Develop new carrier relationships in existing and new markets based on strategic growth initiatives.

Manage full truckload (FTL) and less than truckload (LTL) shipments, including but not limited to the assignment, dispatching, and tracking of all shipments with carriers.

Assist in support and execution of quoting opportunities (RFP Request for Proposal / RFQ Request for Quoting) for new and existing customers.

Proactively address and analyze supply chain disruptions and implement effective, timely solutions.

2 or 4 year college degree preferred.

Must like to work in a fast paced and highly competitive sales market.

Enthusiastic, high-energy extrovert, striving for success and always looking for self-improvement.

High level multi-tasking ability with strong organizational skills.

A willingness to work in a team environment, but able to conduct themselves and their work independently, driven to achieve individual results.
