Eliassen Group is Hiring a Principal Software Engineer Near Boston, MA
**Hybrid onsite 5 days per month in any of the following locations: Boston, MA, Raleigh, NC, Westlake, TX, Merrimack, NH, Salt Lake City, UT.**
Our financial services client is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join their team.

Requirements of the Principal Software Engineer:
- A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 10 years of Java programming experience
- Significant Spring Boot experience
- Significant experience developing Restful APIs
- Experience working with a variety of programming languages, frameworks, operating systems, and platforms
- Experience with microservices and event-based architecture
- Experience with Kubernetes and other cloud technologies
- Experience with gRPC APIs
- Experience with Agile Methodologies
- Strong technical design skills and experience with object-oriented design
- Solid understanding of databases
- Strong understanding of Kafka architectures
- Ability to quickly learn and adopt diverse technologies and engineering practices
- Interest in learning new business processes on a continual basis
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.
