SonoBello is seeking a full time Environmental Support Coordinator for our Austin location.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and sterilizing operating room and instruments after a procedure and disposing of contaminated materials in a timely manner.
  • Maintains and stocks appropriate medical supplies.
  • Cleans, Sterilizes and maintains equipment (e.g., Autoclave, COVID-19 Safety Protocols)
  • Follow cleaning procedures when cleaning rooms to prevent the spread of pathogens.
  • Maintains tools and equipment in good condition, is responsible for economical use of supplies.
  • Dusts, damp mops, spot cleans and disinfects fixtures, furnishings in both patient and non-patient areas.
  • Vacuum and spot clean mats and carpets, as assigned.
  • Empties all medical waste containers, including sharps.
  • May perform special projects such as: windows washing, wall washing, removing heavily soiled items or furnishings.
  • Safely handles potentially hazardous materials.
Required Experience:

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Prior medical training or exposure a plus

Must have physical stamina to stand, walk and climb step stools most of the working day. Turns, stoops, crouches and reaches. Considerable lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and carrying of equipment and objects. Ability to properly use equipment.
